Same crap, new look

Ah, dear reader.  The new look was prompted by two phenomena:

  1. Weird crap with the code.  At some point the code for the old look went batshit and columns started drifting into one another and the place was a mess.  So I tidied up a bit, put a new, fresh coat of paint on the sucka, and–voila–Foolscap is back in business.
  2. Stupid stuff with me.  I got into an unfortunate habit of doing some stupid things with the old look, revealing things I oughn’t, and I was so sick of the old thing anyway that the batshit code presented an ideal opportunity to wipe away the last remaining remnant of my folly.  Those concerned know what I’m talking about.  The exterminating angel, up in hiz-ere, yo.

I also want to assure loyal readers my commitment to the blog has not waned; just I’ve found it more difficult than expected to keep up to date this semester.  Soon, honest, I will try to have comments on Feenberg and Kant and Marcuse and Eagleton, and why last semester’s 7010 class finally makes sense to me.

Oh, please buy the new Arcade Fire album Neon Bible.  It will own you.
